After collecting all three stones of power (Air, Fire and Water), and having placed them in a Kryptonian room inside the Kawatche Caves, where they became one crystal, Clark was immediately transported to the North Pole.

Just moments ahead of fulfilling his destiny, Clark threw the crystal far over the snow mountains and after that, the land started to rumble. Suddenly, a mystic and huge structure made of ice emerged from the snow: The Fortress of Solitude was revealed to Clark.

This is where Clark's currently studying at. It is only known that Clark's taking History classes with Professor Milton Fine, who has him assigned as a research assistant on his investigation about Luthorcorp, with the truly purpose of finding out the truth behind it and publishing a book.
