Tahyna Tozzi (born 24 April 1986) is an Australian model, singer and actress, perhaps best known for her role as Perri on Australian television series Blue Water High on free to air channel ABC and as a young Emma Frost in X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

Biography

Early life

Tozzi grew up in the Sydney beach-side suburb of Cronulla with her Italian father, Dutch mother and younger sister, Cheyenne Tozzi. She began modeling at eight years old.[1]

Career

Tozzi played Perri Lawe on the ABC drama Blue Water High in 2005. She returned to the series for the second-to-last episode of the second series, which aired in December 2006. More recently, Tozzi has performed in Beautiful, her first feature film, playing 17-year-old provocateur Suzy. The film also stars Peta Wilson, Deborah-Lee Furness and Asher Keddie.[2] In 2009, she appeared in the X-Men spin-off, X-Men Origins: Wolverine as Emma Frost, a mutant able to turn her skin into diamond.[3][4] She is set to appear in films Trophy Kids and The Science of Cool alongside Mischa Barton. Tozzi stars currently in the Psychological thriller Needle, which is directed by John V. Soto.[5]
