===Season 2===
Season 2 is based on the ''Tin Mun'' story arc of the comic series. A mysterious stranger wearing an ice mask approaches Wind and tells him that he has the ability to resurrect the dead. To everyone's surprise, the stranger revives Second Dream, Wind's lover, who had died in the first season. However, Wind and Cloud gradually discover that they are falling under his control and being manipulated by him. The stranger, claiming to be a god and possessing extraordinary powers, is revealed to be Di Shitian, the leader of the Heaven's Gate sect. Several pugilists have joined Heaven's Gate, either out of fear for Di Shitian or temptation by the rewards he offers.

Di Shitian's intentions become clear later, as he is planning to recruit the seven pugilists (including Wind and Cloud), who wield the most powerful weapons in the ''Jianghu'', to join him in his quest to slay the [[Chinese dragon|Dragon]] and obtain the precious Dragon Orb, which can boost a pugilist's [[Neigong|inner energy]] by several times after consumption. The mission is successful but the Orb breaks into pieces and the fragments end up in different locations. In greed, Di Shitian consumes more pieces than his body can take and injures himself. His treacherous servant, Duan Lang, seizes the opportunity to kill him and absorb his powers. Subsequently, Duan morphs into the Kirin Demon and becomes a dangerous threat to the ''Jianghu''. Wind and Cloud join forces to defeat Duan eventually.

Wind and Cloud (simplified Chinese: 风云; traditional Chinese: 風雲; pinyin: Fēng Yún; a.k.a. Fung Wan or The Storm Riders) is a Taiwanese Wuxia TV series based on Hong Kong artist Ma Wing-shing's comic series Fung Wan. Vincent Zhao and Peter Ho starred as the titular protagonists. The series was first broadcast on CTV in Taiwan in 2002, and was followed by Wind and Cloud 2 in 2004.

Plot

The series is based on the Tin Ha Wui and Japanese Invasion story arcs of the comic series. Lord Conqueror of the Under Heaven Society learns from a prophecy by Mud Buddha that he will rise to prominence in the Jianghu (martial artists' community) with the help of Wind and Cloud. By coincidence, Conqueror meets two boys named Wind and Cloud, and tutores them in martial arts. When Wind and Cloud grow up, Mud Buddha reveals the second half of the prophecy to Conqueror, telling him that his downfall will also be due to Wind and Cloud. To prevent that from happening, Conqueror attempts to turn Wind and Cloud against each other but fails. The rest of the story focuses on the character development of Wind and Cloud, their love relationships and journey to becoming supreme pugilists.

In the middle of the series, Conqueror loses his powers and is placed at the mercy of Cloud after his followers betray him. He agrees to repent and retire from the Jianghu permanently. Lord Godless, a warrior from Japan, arrives in China with his family and followers and attempts to dominate China. Wind and Cloud join forces to defeat Godless and drive away the Japanese invaders. Towards the end of the series, it is revealed that Conqueror has been secretly plotting to make his return to the Jianghu. Wind and Cloud eventually defeat Conqueror with their combined efforts, fulfilling the prophecy.
