600 homer club

In Major League Baseball, the 600 Home Run Club is an informal term applied to the group of players who have hit 600 or more career home runs during official regular season games (i.e., excluding playoffs or exhibition games). The first member of the 600 Home Run Club was Babe Ruth in 1931. Nobody would join him in the club until nearly 40 years later, when Willie Mays hit his 600th home run in 1969.
