Felicity Landon is a British freelance journalist specialising in maritime, industry and logistics across Britain, Europe and Africa.[1] She is based near Stowmarket, in Suffolk. Landon works as a feature writer, reporter, columnist, editor and proofreader. She has been working in the maritime sector for 20 years.[2]


Early life

Landon grew up in Essex, where she attended New Hall School, near Chelmsford. She went on to study journalism at Harlow College.

Career

Landon worked for the East Anglian Daily Times before becoming a freelance journalist. She has worked in the maritime sector since 1990. She now writes regularly for publications such as Port Strategy, Lloyd's List and Industry Europe.

Awards

Landon was runner-up in the 'Journalist of the Year' category at the PD Ports-sponsored Seahorse Journalist Awards 2009 in December 2009.[3][4] Other projects have included a commemorative book to celebrate the centenary of Dunlop Aircraft Tyres.[5]
