On July 11, 2008, 3 announced the Skypephone S2 [1]. The S2 was released on August 18, 2008, with the price higher than previously mentioned at £79.99 [currently £39.99], rather than £70.00, though it includes £10.00 of calling credit when purchased from 3 Store [2][3]. No details have been mentioned about whether the S2 will be available in other countries other than the United Kingdom. The 3 Skypephone S2 has been widely acclaimed on the internet as being better looking than the S1 [2] . Many issues which the S1 had have now been resolved in the S2.
