It explains: "If the problem of racism in American discourse is typified by the N-word outburst of comedian Michael Richards followed by his abject apology, the French variant is altogether more toxic."

In 2010, the U.N. accused France od racism against the gypsies as it decided to expel the undocumented Roma people, declaring: "The United Nations finds the recent French government hardline stance worrisome." or gypsies is a stark reminder of earlier infamous racist days under the French rule.[3]. Activists charged that France's treatment of Roma (Gypsy) people was 'simply inhuman.' [3] It was condemned as "abusive and racist," saying "the Roma have too often been Europe's scapegoats."[4]

The animosity displayed against Jews by the French Arabs or Muslims in physical attacks on Jews, on Synagogues. From a 2003 account: "Most of the time these incidents are the deeds of young people of Arab and North African descent (Arab), who live in the rougher neighborhoods, in the suburbs of big cities, with the backdrop and international environment that is not very conducive to peaceful relations.”[13]

In an article titled "Europe Reimports Jew Hatred. The mythical Arab Street now reaches deep into Paris, London, Berlin and Madrid," the editor in WSJ cites a wave of attacks on Jews and explains: "The depth of anti-Semitic propaganda in Palestinian and other Muslim societies is one of the most underreported facts about the Middle East. It is this anti-Semitism that predisposes Muslims in Europe to attack Jews and fuels the Mideast conflict. The hatred predates Israel's creation." [16]
