David Ossman (born December 6, 1936 in Santa Monica, California) is the oldest member of The Firesign Theatre. He plays George Leroy ("Peorgie") Tirebiter on Don't Crush That Dwarf, Hand Me the Pliers and Catherwood in the Nick Danger series.
In 1973, he recorded the solo album How Time Flys.
Now he lives happily on Whidbey Island with his wife, Judith Walcutt and his sons, Orson and Preston.

In the Feb 21, 2006 "Feedback" column of PC Magazine, Chris Sherlock (a Wikipedia administrator) is quoted as writing:
