French version is very far away from the original! Or that is an other song, or that is a very funny translation, because it says mearly the oposite than the spanish one !
Es la historia de un amor, como no hay otro igual / C'est l'histoire d'un amour, éternel et *banal* (if it is "banal", there are many others like it, and so that can't be the translation to "como no hay otro igual")
French translation should be
Tu n'es plus à mon côté, mon cœur, en mon âme ne reste que la solitude, si je ne puis plus te voir, Pourquoi mon Dieu, m'as tu fait t'aimer? Pour me faire souffrir davantage?
Is this really a stub?
There can't be much more to say about the song, and it obligingly includes lyrics in Spanish, English, and French. Really, I found it completely helpful -- more so than other song articles I've seen on wiki.
I know it's been automatically classed. I'm just wondering if there's a way to undo that, if it's appropriate to do so by Wiki's Byzantine standards. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.242.225.132 (talk) 03:22, 5 September 2009 (UTC)
Original lyrics
There is a question what was the song's original lyrics. In the version in the article there is: Por qué Dios me hizo quererte? ¿Para hacerme sufrir más?
and
Siempre fuiste la razón de mi existir. Adorarte para mi fue religión.
In many versions available on the web the word Dios is replaced by poder, and religion with obsesion. Censored to conform to bigotric authorities? Or was the original more tame?
In one sung version I heard "habrá" instead of "hay" in "que no hay otro igual". Is there any written track of this wording? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.71.38.142 (talk) 12:15, 18 November 2009 (UTC)
Title Translation?
I may be wrong of course, but I believe the literal translation is (History of a Love). Can someone please double-check that?
One of the most amazing versions of it is by Guadelupe Pineda singing along with The Three Aces (Los Tres Ases). Very powerful harmonies with deep emotional content. Most enjoyable! —Preceding unsigned comment added by KitchM (talk • contribs) 01:58, 22 December 2009 (UTC)
You're wrong. Historia is just story. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.136.123.236 (talk) 21:02, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
