Rhythm de Run Run Run (リズムdeラン♪ラン♪ラン♪ Rizumu de Ran Ran Ran) isn't the least bit shy about ripping off Nintendo's Rhythm Tengoku games, which recently came to North America with Rhythm Heaven for the DS. Rhythm de Run Run Run offers the recurring theme of running, but it's still a collection of mini-games interwoven with music-syncing gameplay. The mini-games may be played by using only the microphone.[4]

Description

Nintendo brought Rhythm Heaven to North America in April 2009, but in Japan it was already old hat. That left room for Alpha Unit to make a beat tapping game of their own. Like Nintendo’s game, Rhythm de Run Run Run is very wacky.[2]

In one level you help a kid chase a moving port-a-potty before his bladder bursts. Another stage takes place in a hurdles race where you leap over penguins and fish. Alpha Unit calls Rhythm de Run Run Run a scrolling style rhythm action game.[2]
