Specifications
The Marussia can accelerate from 0-100 kilometres per hour (0-62 mph) in 4.0-5.0 seconds. It has a top speed of 260 km/h. It's very sharp design and aerodynamics mean that the car has very low drag coefficient.
Interior
Nikolai Fomenko, being a famous an talented motor racer in Russia and anchorman of Russian Top Gear, took a great role in the making and designing of the Marussia. The car features a very futuristic interior. Marussia has 4 cameras, each placed on each side of the car: front , back , left and right. The driver and passengers can easily observe the environment using the build-in LCD displays. This could be very helpful when parking or when trying to achieve a different angle of view. Many sports medias have described the interior as a very luxury and high-tech which is very unusual for russian principles of car building. Every part of the interior is made of special leather. The car also features a 3D rendering of the car on the main LCD in which the driver can observe the car's status. It's also capable of usins both the Russian GLONASS and American GPS system.
Exterior
The car features an aluminium semi-monocoque construct which makes the car very robust and reliable. Nikolai Fomenko, Marussia Motors's CEO, has added that the main idea behind the car's design is the drivers's safety and the car's toughness and endurance under high speeds and harsh terrain. When crash tested, Marussia was able to withstand a head-on collision as the crash test dummy was barely affected by the collision. The car has a very aerodynamic shape enabling it to maintain a stable position during high speeds.
Engine
The engine is made in cooperation with one of the best British engine manufacturers - Cosworth. The engine is V6 with a capacity of about 3500 cubic centimetres with a total of 300hp and is able to achieve a top speed of 250-260 km/h. The Marussia uses 6 speed automatic transmission.
