SuggestBot picks the articles you might be interested in based on the articles you've edited and using a number of different techniques: following links from them to other articles, matching articles based on their content, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedia users. It tries to recommend only articles that others have marked as needing work, such as stub articles that need to be made longer, clean-up articles that need writing help, and so on. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.

If you choose to participate we encourage you to leave feedback on these suggestions, which you can most easily do here by editing your user talk page. We'll stop by later to read them.

Welcome

Welcome!

Hello, FabGalvez, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{helpme}} before the question. Again, welcome!

Please Adopt me:)

Apparently you are a sockpuppet so no. WLU (t) (c) Wikipedia's rules:simple/complex 10:33, 14 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
We have clarified the issue with your teacher at User talk:Thelmadatter#Multiple Accounts, and you are now unblocked. Our apologies for the inconvenience, and welcome to wikipedia! -- Avi (talk) 19:36, 14 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Well that was an unfortunate misunderstanding. FabGalvez, if you are still looking for assistance or adoption, I would be willing to help out. WLU (t) (c) Wikipedia's rules:simple/complex 20:19, 14 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, FabGalvez. You have new messages at WLU's talk page.
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.

I've also a few suggestsions:

  • sign your posts with four tildes (~~~~) or the signature button in the edit pane (between the big "W" and the horizontal black bar). It's a good habit to get into and reduces the amount of work signbot has to do.
  • Though I don't think there's a rule about it, you may want to pick a single adopter since it could create confusion. If you choose the other guy, still feel free to ask me questions if you can't get an answer. If you choose me, I'll probably spend a bit of time monitoring your contributions to offer suggestions. For instance...
  • I would suggest undoing or reverting your two mainspace contributions here and here. In the Kid Stuff page, you're adding an unnecessary comma to a sentence that's already got too many. In Pop art, the comma you removed doesn't really help or hinder the page, but the second changes the meaning of the sentence in an unhelpful way. It'll also give you practice undoing things, which can be helpful if you are planning on doing anything about vandalism.
  • I would suggest reading this essay I wrote for new editors. It's a broad overview to editing, you may find it interesting and useful.

Thanks, let me know if you've any questions. WLU (t) (c) Wikipedia's rules:simple/complex 12:57, 21 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sure thing about the adoption!

I was actually waiting to see how the sockpuppet issue panned out. If you still want a dedicated adopter, feel free to ask me questions or drop me a line on my talkpage. User:WLU seems more busy than me, but maybe you connect better with him/her :D

I'm online a lot, so you can be sure of your queries and worries being answered in a short time :)
