The Gilgai Stakes is a VRC Group 2 Australian Thoroughbred horse race for three year olds and upwards, at set weights with penalties, over a distance of 1200 metres. It is held annually at Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne in October. Total prize money for the race is AUD $251,500.
