DRUGS (styled as D.R.U.G.S. and standing for Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows) is an American post-hardcore band formed in 2010. They are currently in the process of recording their yet-to-be-named debut album.
History
Inception
The band was formed in late 2009/early 2010, after Craig Owens was kicked out of Chiodos. The band's members were announced in several YouTube video updates on Craig Owens' official YouTube page.[2] The band's members include vocalist Craig Owens (ex-Chiodos), drummer Aaron Stern (Matchbook Romance), guitarist/vocalist Nick Martin (Underminded), guitarist/vocalist Matt Good (From First to Last), and bassist Adam Russell (Story of the Year).[3]
On August 17, 2010, Owens announced the name of the band via a Twitter update.[4]
As of August 25, 2010, the band is situated in Los Angeles recording their upcoming album with producer John Feldmann.[5][6]
The band was at the 2010 San Diego Warped Tour to sign for their fans. Photographer Nicole Rork was there to document the day.[7]
On October 5, 2010, the band revealed in a video update that their bass player will be Adam Russell of Story of the Year. [8]
