Simpy.com website still exists but seems a bit broken. I noticed that simply.com redirects to Reuters.com. Combining that with what the original developer wrote a while ago, it might be closed down.

I recall there was a mailing list for Simpy on Yahoo Group.

This Wikipedia article currently suggests that Simpy is independent, but it seems that that has not been the case for the last few years.
