Naoshi Nakamura (Template:Lang-ja, born January 27, 1979 in Chiba) is a Japanese football player who currently plays for J. League division 1 side Nagoya Grampus. He wears the number seven (7). He is 176 cm tall and 72 kg. Blood type A. He made his full international debut on August 9, 2006, in a friendly against Trinidad and Tobago.

Playing style

Naoshi Nakamura's playing style is often compared to former Glasgow Celtic star Shunsuke Nakamura due to his same surname and his similarities of their playmaking skills. Moreover, Naoshi Nakamura is well known for his dribbling skills as well as his shooting and passing skills. Many of the Nagoya Grampus fans consider Nakamura to be the team's primary play maker.
