Frank McGuinness (died 1949) was an Australian newspaper editor and father of the journalist, P. P. McGuinness. He is most well-known for starting the evening newspaper, The Daily Mirror, in 1941. Before this, he worked as a journalist on numerous newspapers, including the Melbourne Herald , Geelong Advertiser and had been the editor of The Truth.
