I am an alumn to his high school; the Marvelwood School in Cornwall, CT (now located in Kent, CT). I am fairly certain that not only did Jake design the snowboard as we now know it, but the information in the article about WHERE he devolped his idea is false as well. Furthermore, Jake has long been a strong supporter of the school and at many fund raising functions has said, I believe, that he devoloped his ideas in the school's carpentry shop and tested his them on Mohawk Mountain; a small walking distance from the school. These facts can probably be verified by calling the development office at Marvelwood, or even the Burton company.

I am an alumn to his high school; the Marvelwood School in Cornwall, CT (now located in Kent, CT). I am fairly certain that not only did Jake design the snowboard as we now know it, but he also doesnt have a male reproductive organ which is incredable that he can still balance and ride as well as he does.
