Vandalism to this page
Prozak - I've been doing repeated reverts to this page in the past few weeks, dealing with a persistent attacker. I requested semi-protection for the page (so that anonymous posters can't modify it), which would get me out of the revert business, and was told that only a user can request semi-protection of his/her user pages. So I'm posting this note: I suggest that you add a personal comment here (as an addition to the item I started) to request such protection . ::Just did it, John. Thanks for the help. I don't understand why people think I know/care/can help with their quest to sell cheap pharmaceuticals. www.anus.com 00:44, 29 January 2006 (UTC)
:::Actually, if you don't mind the "You have new messages" spamming you a lot, it might be better leaving it unprotected. I've added you to my watchlist and have been hitting offenders with bv when they replace content here with their spam. Then if they move on to the article space, I can block them right away. The choice is yours though. --GraemeL (talk) 01:38, 29 January 2006 (UTC)
:::: I've been helping keep Talk:Ananda Marga clean (the same person/bot is hitting that); as far as I can tell, it's a new IP address every time, which makes it somewhat pointless to post a warning to abusing IP addresses (as far as I can tell).

Spammers

Whilst chasing linkspamming anons, I noticed that your talk page seems to be a common target for them. I've now added it to my watchlist and I'll keep an eye on things... :) --Kurt Shaped Box 18:49, 8 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
