Tatiana was born in the city of Monterrey, Mexico, December 12,1968. She began her artisitic career at an early age, but her fisrt starring role was in "Kuman", a rock opera about a Tarzan like character. Then she made several pop albums, most notably "Chicas de Hoy", achieving in this period of her career 15 gold records and 4 platinum records during the 1980's and early 1990's. She also participated in several local soap operas and was the star in some movies; but it wasn't until she began to record albums fully dedicated to children songs that an international boost was achieved, and so far she has obtained 23 gold records, 7 platinum and 4 diamond.
