Dominion Voting Systems is a privately-owned Denver-based company that sells electronic voting machines.
As of August 2010, it reported that it contracts in 600 U.S. jurisdictions in some 22 states. and has deployed 80,000 Dominion ImageCast Precinct Optical Scan Tabulators around the world.[1]
The company, which was previously headquartered in Toronto, significantly increased its size in 2010 with the acquisition of Premier Election Solutions in May and Sequoia Voting Systems in June. The acquisition of Premier came about after Election Systems & Software was forced by the U.S. Department of Justice to divest itself of the company which it just acquired from Diebold because of monopoly concerns. With the acquisitions the company moved its headquarters to Denver.[2]
