Kevin Antonio Mirallas Castillo (born October 5, 1987 in Liège), known generally as Kevin Mirallas is a Belgian footballer who currently plays for Olympiacos F.C..
Career
He played for his home town side Standard Liège at youth level, and has played for Lille OSC since the opening of the 2004–05 season. Mirallas participated in the UEFA Cup in his first season at the club. Mirallas recently signed for AS Saint-Etienne for €4m, scoring against Lyon on his debut in the Rhone-Loire derby.
Olympiakos Piraeus
On 17 June 2010 Olympiakos Piraeus loaned the 23-year old Belgian from Saint-Etienne on loan with right of ransom.[1] He made his debut against Besa Kavajë at UEFA Europa League qualification. His first 2 goals, achieved against the Olympiakos Volou F.C., with final score ends 3-1. Lately, Kevin has expressed his desire to stay with Olympiakos.
Position
Mirallas has the ability to play in various attacking positions. His favorite position is striker but he can also play as a second striker, attacking midfielder and winger.
International career
Mirallas has represented Belgium at Under-17, Under-19 levels and Under-21 levels and was one of the leading figures in guiding 2007 Belgium to the semi-finals during the UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship.
He scored twice in the 2008 Summer Olympics football tournament, once against China (2–0 victory) and once against Italy (3–2 victory).[2]
