Song |
"Lemonade" is the third official single by American rapper, Gucci Mane from his second studio album The State vs. Radric Davis. The single was released in January 2010 and was produced by Bangladesh. The song's subject matter involves the proceeds from the sale of codeine-infused lemonade, all of which the artist describes as yellow or lemon-colored:
I'm truly stupid paid that's just how I feel today,
I'm movin' slow 'cause codeine syrup's in my lemonade
I'm standin' in the shade and I'm sellin' lemonade
600 a pint, the goin' rate off in the A...[1]
The song interpolates "Keep It Warm" by Flo & Eddie, and incorporates the voices of children singing the song's chorus.
