Igor Almeida Figueiredo is a Brazilian professional snooker player. He has received a wild card onto the main tour, having been a runner-up to Alfie Burden in the 2009 IBSF World Championship.[2] He also competed on the PIOS tour where he finished 12th in the rankings after the eight events. Prior to competing in these events Figueiredo had only played on 10-foot tables.[3]
Career
In his first major ranking event, the Shanghai Masters, Figueiredo beat Jamie O'Neill 5–4 and David Gilbert 5–4 (despite being docked a frame for forgetting his cue).[4] His run ended in the last 64 losing 5–1 to Fergal O'Brien.
