Kapasiwin is a summer village in Alberta, Canada. It is located in the eastern shore of Wabamun Lake, south of Wabamun Lake Provincial Park and the Yellowhead Highway
The name derives from kapesiwin (ᑲᐯᓯᐃᐧᐣ), the Cree word for "campground".[3]

In 2006, Kapasiwin had a population of 39 living in 28 dwellings, a 160.0% increase from 2001.[1] However, this population has since been revised by Statistics Canada to 15.[2] The summer village has a land area of Template:Km2 to mi2 and a population density of Template:Pop density km2 to mi2 using the revised 2006 population count.[1][2]
