French River?
I lived my first 17 years on the banks of this river, and I never heard anyone call it anything but "French Creek," or in signage or old maps, "Riviere aux Boeufs". I suggest that this alternate name is probably not based in any community agreement, and should be deleted from the article unless a verifiable citation is presented within a reasonable amount of time. - I re-edited the article to fix my previous error. It should have read the "Venango River." I also placed a reference in the lede. Sorry for the confusion. All is One (talk) 22:13, 26 May 2010 (UTC)
