the features list has obviously been copied from [http://ultradefrag.sourceforge.net/handbook/Introduction.html here]. as a result of this, the tone in which the features are described is very positive. might also be a problem with copyright, as the handbook page i linked doesnt say anything about how it is licensed, apart from the program itself being under gnu gpl. i added the ad template.

This is my first page and Talk.

I've made a simple page aobut UltraDefrag based on information found on the official web page and I also read the Softpedia review for corroboration. The main reason I made the page is that I found it annoying to have to google a program mentioned in another article.

I haven't used UltraDefrag myself so I can't comment on the speed and effectiveness of the program, but it was one of just two open source defraggers for windows that I've found, and as such I felt it warranted a page.

UltraDefrag has an excellent boot-time defrag capability, and I use it on a Windows 2000 server, as well as on several WinXP workstations. I use JkDefrag for defragmenting the drive manually, since I feel it is faster and more visual than UltraDefrag, but that is just a personal preference. the features list has obviously been copied from here. as a result of this, the tone in which the features are described is very positive. might also be a problem with copyright, as the handbook page i linked doesnt say anything about how it is licensed, apart from the program itself being under gnu gpl. i added the ad template.

THIS IS MALWARE! THE PAGE NEEDS TO BE CHANGED!!

Why has someone put the word SPYWARE on the page?

The word "SPYWARE" has been added in capitals to the page and there is a comment about this being malware.

However, I can find no reference to this on any search - should this comment be removed? It is from an anonymous contributor. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jsanglier (talkcontribs) 23:55, 15 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
