Equals Three (=3) is a bi-weekly webshow hosted by YouTube partner Ray William Johnson on the video-sharing website YouTube under the channel name RayWilliamJohnson. Originally called "Capitol Hill Gangsta'" the name changed in April 2009 to "=3". Each episode usually features three videos, either already popular or obscure.[2]

Content

An Equals Three episode usually comes out twice a week, currently every Monday and Thursday (originally Friday). An average episode features three different viral video clips, usually from YouTube or FailBlog. After making commentary on the videos, Ray offers a user-generated question of the day which he has selected that can be answered using the comment section beneath the video, or on Facebook, or Twitter. Towards the end of each video, selected comments from the previous show's question of the day are shown, accompanied by a musical selection, either from one of the videos or Stalkin' Your Mom, performed by the independent YouTube musician Wax.[1]
