Edwardstone is a village and civil parish in Suffolk, England. The parish contains the hamlets of Mill Green, Priory Green, Round Maple and Sherbourne Street, and the Edwardstone Woods, a Site of Special Scientific Interest. John Winthrop, governor of the Massachusetts Bay Colony, was born in the village in 1588. Edwardstone has a cricket team which plays its home games at the Playing Fields, Boxford.
