Way Out West is a three-day music festival held in Gothenburg, Sweden, during August that plays host to a variety of popular music artists mainly from the Rock, Electronic and Hip-hop genres.

Location

The main festival takes place in the 137 hectare park of Slottsskogen in Gothenburg on the Friday and Saturday of the festival weekend. Additionally many other artists perform at various venues in and around central Gothenburg on the Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.

2007

The first Way Out West was held on the 9th, 10th and 11th of August, 2007.
