Raydio is the self-titled debut album by the group Raydio, formed by session guitarist/vocalist/songwriter Ray Parker, Jr. Released in 1978 on Arista Records, it featured two hit pop singles: "Jack and Jill" (number 8 pop, number 5 R&B, number 11 in the UK) and "Is This A Love Thing" (number 20 R&B, number 27 UK). The album, which produced, engineered, mixed and mostly written by Parker himself, reached a peak of number 11 on the charts in 1978 and was certified gold by the RIAA.
