  • Tweener (basketball), a basketball player:
    • who is able to play two (or more) positions equally well, or
    • whose skills and physical attributes do not precisely fit any one position
  • Tweener in American football, is the DE/LB hybrid position in a 3-4 defense
  • Tweener in tennis, is a trick shot which involves hitting the ball between the legs from rear to front while retrieving an offensive lob. It was invented by Argentine player Guillermo Vilas, who gave it the name "Great Willy" ("Gran Willy" in Spanish); it was also popularized by Yannick Noah and very recently by Roger Federer.
