== Photograph and meaning of "itinerarium" ==

''Itinerarium'' comes from Antonin and Burdigalense itineraria (that's what the page correctly says), the meaning is ''route''; they are purely linear listings. So I find the photograph of the page maybe not suitable: [[Peutinger Table]] is a (rough) ''map'', 2-D, not a 1-D routes list like the other two ones. The first paragraph may be confusing, too. Photograph and meaning of "itinerarium"

Itinerarium comes from Antonin and Burdigalense itineraria (that's what the page correctly says), the meaning is route; they are purely linear listings. So I find the photograph of the page maybe not suitable: Peutinger Table is a (rough) map, 2-D, not a 1-D routes list like the other two ones. The first paragraph may be confusing, too.
