Jelan Kendrick (born October 9, 1991) is a basketball player who plays small forward and was a McDonald's All-American for Joseph Wheeler High School in Atlanta, Georgia. Kendrick committed to the University of Memphis, but left the team on November 13, 2010 prior to ever playing an official game for the Tigers.^[1] But now is headed to the University of Mississippi, where he will play play in the 2011-2012 season.

Averaged 20.2 points, 6.7 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game as a senior.
Named to the 2010 McDonald's All-American Boys Game.
Also named to the 2010 Jordan Brand Classic.
Ranked as the nation's fourth-best small forward and 43rd-best overall player by ESPN.com.
Considered a five-star recruit by both Scout.com and Rivals.com.
Ranked as the eighth best player in the country by Rivals.com.
Also held offers from Georgetown, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Miami (Fl), Oregon, and UCLA
Coached at Wheeler by Doug Lipscomb.
