The Kathmandu Jazz Festival or Jazzmandu is an annual Jazz Festival, organised by young Jazz enthusiasts from Kathmandu, Nepal. The festival is presented by Upstairs Ideas Pvt. Ltd and has grown and improved greatly over the years. Jazzmandu has been successfully promoting jazz in Nepal for the past nine years. The festival has been musically enriching lives of old and young in experiencing the essence of jazz. The festival includes free shows, educational programs and workshops to make music accessible to people of all age and the general public.[1] The title is a portmanteau of Jazz and Kathmandu
