Dragon Oath (simplified Chinese: 天龙八部; traditional Chinese: 天龍八部; pinyin: Tiān Lóng Bā Bù; Jyutping: Tin1 Lung4 Baat3 Bou6) is the name given to the U.S. version of Wuxia MMORPG Tian Long Ba Bu (TLBB), developed and published by ChangYou.com and Sohu, based on the novel of the same name by Jin Yong. The game was originally released in 2007 in China and was the first game published by ChangYou.com.[1] The European version of Tian Long Ba Bu entered pre-closed beta on July 9, 2009[2], and has recently entered its open commercial phase[3]. Tian Long Ba Bu receives 800,000 concurrent players in China daily. It is a free to play MMO.[1]
