Place of Birth

Mongolia?! This is absurd. Of course, it's "confirmed" by Chris Marker himself, so it has to stay like this. But he has also told people that he's an expatriate American fighter pilot who crashed over France during WW2 and has lived there ever since. I'm not complaining -- the man himself is a wonderful mystery and an incredible philosopher -- I just think that reporting "Mongolia" as his place of birth in such a matter-of-fact way is rather disingenuous. - Lontano (talk) 12:20, 14 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Place of birth changed to Paris, France. Keep Mongolia since 2008 without giving more details has no sense. Everywhere says that he was born in a suburb of Paris.
