Yiannis Melanitis is a Greek artist born in Athens in 1967.[1] His works include an interactive performance Kryographia, The Conductivity of Writing, ABOUT, Athens, October 2010, Dans Le Jardin d’ Epicure/ Les elements comme des metaphors, personal exhibition at the Psychiatric Hospital of Geneva, (Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève), Switzerland, March 2006. Also, Pleasure Machine which was performed at the House of World Cultures in Berlin.[2], Touch Terrain at Monaco Dance Forum, a multi-user interactive environment 2006. He holds degrees in Painting (prof.X.Botsoglou), Sculpture (prof. G.Lappas) and Masters degree in Digital Arts from Athens School of Fine Arts and he is a PhD Fellow at NTUA, Athens School of Architecture.[1]He was elected as a Lecturer at the Sculpture Deptm. of Athens School Fine Arts, May 2010.

In March 2008, he installed a sculpture exhibition at E31 Gallery, Athens, called "Odysseus as Faust".[3] Latest work has been In October 2010, an interactive poerformance installation and exhibition of his work called Kryografia.[4]
