History

Indiana University Kokomo was formed when Indiana University acquired, during 1945, the former Kokomo Junior College. Kokomo Junior College was formed in 1932 by John and George Beauchamp.[4]

The original campus was on Sycamore Street. In 1967 students raised money to have the Well House moved from the original campus location to the current campus.
