Les Avenières is a commune in the Isère department in south-eastern France. The inhabitants are known as Avenièrant(e)s.
Géography The Avenieres is a town of the Rhône-Alpes Region of the Department of l'Isère(38. It lies along the Rhône river which seperates the department of l'Ain(01). It is not far from the Guiers(a small tributary of the Rhône)which defines the boundary of the Isere and Savoie departments.
