State elections were held in the Austrian state Burgenland on 30 May 2010.[1] An opinion poll conducted in May 2010 expected the results to be similar to the previous election, with the Social Democratic Party predicted to win 50% of the votes, the Austrian People's Party following with 38% of votes and the Freedom Party and the Greens remaining the smallest parties in the state's legislature with 7% and 5% respectively. The BZÖ didnt take part this election. [2] [3]
