Nathan "Nate" Phelps is an author and speaker on religion and child abuse and an LGBT advocate. The seventh child of Pastor Fred Phelps, Nate is estranged from the majority of his family. Phelps is known for his criticism of the Westboro Baptist Church, which he claims is merely a way for his father to "vent his rage and anger" [1]
