there is no way icehockey is the second most popular- I read the german version of this- it is becoming increasingly popular, but it never stated its the number two. You have to give a brilliant resource to convience me. ([[User:Boekholt gregori|Boekholt gregori]] ([[User talk:Boekholt gregori|talk]]) 08:18, 5 June 2010 (UTC))

Germany at the Olympics

There is an obvious problem with counting here. Before WW2, Germany took part in the Olympic Games, after first the United Team of Germany, then both countries as separate teams, then after 1990 again Germany. Now which counts do which of the results from the article include? Is East Germany (or West-) only the count from Olympics where East Germany took part, or does it also add in the games where Germany (and the United team) took part? Not to mention that the ranks given are different to those in the respective articles Summer Olympics medal count & Winter Olympics medal count. Lars T. 17:36, 2 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Handball is mentioned in the article, if you want to expand, please do so. Lars T. (talk) 13:22, 21 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

too much ado about rugby

a lot of space for rugby, too much for such an (from a German POV) exotic unimportant minor sport —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.164.206.109 (talk) 20:15, 13 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Icehockey second?
