Plastic Shamans are usually individuals who try to pass themselves off as Shamans, Medicine Men & Women, Traditional Healers, Spiritual Advisors and Seers and Psychics. Plastic Shamans are not offering to help Native American tribes. They frequently offer (for sale) Pipes, Pouches and other so called Shamanism supplies. They are usually associated with the wave of New Age (or NuAge) religions. They teach so called ceremonies to people who are willing to pay money for spiritual enlightenment. Most of these ceremonies are corrupt and or fraudulent. Some ceremonies such as Nude Sweat lodges and the Chuluaqui-Quodoushka are used as part of cult indoctrinations. Women particularly are vulnerable to sexual predators among these 'Shamans'. Traditional Healers, Medicine Men or Women, Spiritual Advisors will not be found on the internet.

Shamans

Shamans are not a part of Native American Religion. The term Shaman originated in Siberia.
