The Mackenzie Valley Wolf (Canis lupus occidentilis) is a subspecies of the grey wolf situated in North-Western Canada (and Alaska)of large proportions. It is found throughout much of the Yukon, Alaska, British Columbia and Alberta. Its colouring is mainly compromised of black, grey and in very rare cases, white.
