Polymita, is a genus of large, air-breathing land snails, terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusks in the family Cepolidae[citation needed] or Helminthoglyptidae[2] or Xanthonychidae.[3]
The shell of this species is large, brightly colored, and has numerous color varieties.
These snails are endemic to Cuba.
Anatomy
Poymita creates and uses love darts as part of its mating behavior.
