GOOD Music
Shouldn't the Good music songs be mentioned? Also his Runaway film. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.88.144.87 (talk) 20:53, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
G.O.O.D. fridays mention
maybe mention that he is giving free tracks in anticipation of his album
Also, redirect Kanye here. not a lot of people want to see a city in botswana or some name. just like curtis jackson redirects to 50 cent and not the disambiguation page —Preceding unsigned comment added by 120.56.166.70 (talk) 08:04, 26 October 2010 (UTC)
official website
his official website is now www.kanyewest.com, this should be changed from the currently listed www.kanyeuniversity.com —Preceding unsigned comment added by Yizzzzz (talk • contribs) 17:34, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
Feminine
This line may need an edit, or perhaps it has been 'edited' and it has been overlooked for a correction.
"Kanye credits his (feminine) nature with being raised by his mother." —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.181.99.173 (talk) 22:32, 3 November 2010 (UTC)
Kanye West and Korean band JYJ
The Korean group JYJ was scheduled to release their English-language global debut album, The Beginning, on October 12, led by the Kanye West produced single "Ayyy Girl".JYJ (JaeJoong, Yoochun, JunSu) flu to the United States to begin recording for their new album, which was released through a “well-known” music company in the States but with a focus on targeting Asian countries.Jae Chong, who has worked with artists such as BoA, Vaness Wu, and Uhm JungHwa has announced he is currently writing songs for JYJ. Chong describes the upcoming album as a “huge collaboration project featuring the biggest A listers in the US.it’s a huge collaboration project featuring the 3 guys from DBSK and the biggest A listers in the US…as of now…being Kanye West and Timbaland…To make the long story short…we’re working on the album as I type…and will fly to Hawaii to record at Kanye’s house…and then possibly go to LA or Miami to record with Timbaland…This is by far THE biggest budget project EVER in Asia" —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jyjlove (talk • contribs) 13:00, 5 November 2010 (UTC)
i think this is a great step for the music industry in north america. as well, i think its awesome kanye west is helping a korean band make a north american debute. i think others will also open up to this and make the music industry more multicultural in north america. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jyjlove (talk • contribs) 13:06, 5 November 2010 (UTC)

In personal life it says Mr. West was engaged to Amber Rose which is false information, never engaged just dated.

The "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" section should mention cover versions of the song, for instance, the video posted on YouTube by Charlottesville, VA musician Shaun Cullen.

- Not done: because it's yours? Covers by non-notable artists aren't supposed to be mentioned on Wikipedia. — Jeff G. ツ 09:15, 3 December 2010 (UTC)
It wasn't Obama who called West "jackass". I remember watxhing the video in which it was clearly seen that it was a man Obama talked to who said the word "jackass". Sadly, I don't remember where I saw that video and I don't know if it's still available on Internet, but I was sure it was a widely known fact by now that it wasn't Obama who said that. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 178.30.132.63 (talk) 05:55, 12 December 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, Obama did call Kanye West a jackass. He was right, too. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.42.95.107 (talk) 00:24, 17 December 2010 (UTC)
Right or not, it wasn't Obama. I saw the video and it was the man Obama talked to who called West "jackass". Unless I'm blind and deaf...? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.162.105.191 (talk) 13:56, 25 December 2010 (UTC)
- It was Obama who said it. We could link to the video and show you right here. And in any case, I highly doubt all of the media would have said it was Obama if it wasn't, and would still be insisting such even now. Media mistakes happen, I know that, but this isn't one of them. Watch the Throne (ERROR)
'Ye's collab album with Jay-Z is entitled Watch the Throne (as seen in interviews, videos, and elsewhere on wikipedia), not Watch my Throne. I don't have an account or I would fix it myself, but it looks stupid as is. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.59.129.80 (talk) 07:19, 18 December 2010 (UTC)

{{edit semi-protected}} Please change "808s & Heartbreak becoming his third consecutive #1 album in the U.S. upon release." because it needs to be updated. My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy debuted at No.1 on the Billboard 200 as well making it his fouth consecutive no.1 album, so it has to be changed to "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy becoming his fourth consecutive #1 album in the U.S. upon release." I think it should also be noted that all 5 of his albums have been certified platinum selling more than a million copies each. I think this should be added in the first section.
Melrocks50 (talk) 05:50, 23 January 2011 (UTC)
DoneI concur--that seems like a pretty impressive achievement to me. I've added a note in the lead. I didn't cite the note, because it's fully cited for each album on Kanye West discography. If someone thinks the cites need to be here, too, you'd need to transfer all 5 cites to the end of that clause or sentence. Qwyrxian (talk) 15:13, 23 January 2011 (UTC)

I think it would be good to mention that that he is the rapper with the most grammys at 14 grammys. This information is from wikipedia itself. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grammy_Award_records go to the "Most Grammy Awards won by a male artist" section. He won 14 grammys.
Melrocks50 (talk) 14:55, 26 January 2011 (UTC)
- Not done He doesn't have the most Grammy Awards Vladimir Horowitz does. It says so right here. Baseball Watcher 21:51, 26 January 2011 (UTC)

seeing as he confirmed that he is working on hes 6th studio album i think the title on the last section of hes biography should be changed to My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, Watch the Throne, Sixth Studio Album (2010–present) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Thesupernatural (talk • contribs) 23:11, 29 January 2011 (UTC)

He is the rapper that won the most grammy's with 14.
{{edit semi-protected}} I meant that he is the "rapper" that won the most grammy's with 14 cumulative grammy's http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grammy_Award_records

Need Footnote Help
I'm sorry for all the edits. I'm having trouble with Footnote 102's link. Is there a way to check how a footnote will look while editing a section? They don't show up when you click "show preview." I tried three times, but the link to http://www.boycewatkins.net/ is still not correct. Would someone be willing to fix that and let me know what I did wrong?
Thank you,
