Faced with a crisis of national proportions in rugby, marked by "Condor" poorly organized and without competition, a central event that takes place every time in less time and are leaders who do not trust or understand why they need the players, the message was clear. At the end of this past March, Alastair MacGregor Martin (06/30/1954) was unanimously elected as new president of the Federation of Rugby (Feruchi).<ref>[http://www.tell.cl/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&sid=1597&mode=thread&order=0&thold=0]</ref>
