Template:Future film Shrek 4 a rumored fourth film in the Shrek series. It has been reported in the entertainment press that the film will be released no sooner that 2010. Unlike Shrek 3 (which as of February 2006 is currently in production), production of Shrek 4 has not yet been confirmed by Dreamworks, thus shooting down the rumor that Shrek 3 & 4 will be released back-to-back.
