Style

Style may include genre, design, format, or appearance, including:

• Clothing: fashion
• (botany): part of the pistil of a flower
• Art: visual devices, characteristic mark-making and other characteristics that unify and distinguish artwork of certain artists
• Music: music genre
• Sundial part: Gnomon
• Titles or honorifics: Style (manner of address) including Chinese courtesy names
• Web design: Cascading Style Sheets
• Writing: style guide and literary genre
• Linguistics: Variation in the language use of an individual, such as formal/informal style, is studied in stylistics.
• One of the three traditional design features of a typeface along with size and weight - styles are either regular, italic or condensed.
